GridLife is a colorful interpretation of conway's game of life with collectible pattern encyclopedia

Start a soup, let it run, and see what survives. When the game recognizes something like a still life, oscillator, spaceship or other known pattern, it gets its own color and is added to the Gridex.

The main idea is simple: watch the simulation, find new stuff, and slowly fill out the encyclopedia.
